We’re launching our 10-Week Athlete Performance Program at Lifted South Shore starting June 16th.

Built for middle school and high school athletes who want to:
✔️ build real strength
✔️ improve speed + explosiveness
✔️ gain confidence heading into their season
✔️ reduce injury risk
✔️ train with structure and purpose

Each session is coached by Pat or Alece and programmed intentionally combining speed work, plyometrics, strength training, mobility, and conditioning in a small group environment.

But the biggest benefit?

Walking into tryouts, practices, and games feeling prepared instead of hoping you did enough.

What we’re looking for during your DB bench press 👀

Week 1 is about finding a weight you can control for all 10–12 reps with good form.

Here’s what we are watching for:

• Shoulders stay down and stable [not shrugging up]
• Dumbbells move evenly [one side shouldn’t overpower the other]
• Control on the way down [don’t let gravity take over]
• Full range of motion [not short, rushed reps]
• Last few reps feel challenging, but still clean

For this rep range, we want you working hard enough to build strength and muscle without sacrificing form to get there.

Find your starting point. Own the movement. Build from there. 💪

The 1lb & 2.5lb plates

Sometimes increasing your weight by 5lb or 10lb is just too much but they say ‘Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.’ 🤪

So if you’re picking up the same weights each week don’t be disappointed when it doesn’t give you the results you want.

You have to be willing to challenge yourself and one of the best ways to do that is adding on the 1lb weights to your DB & KB or the 2.5 plate to your BB! 🏋️‍♀️

We’re challenging you to finish week 4 strong and add those extra lb’s 💪🖤
