Doing a different kind of racing this year and taking the year off from motorsports to save some money and get into more athletic shape and plan to do some more kart racing in 2023. While I do miss racecar driving competively, the time off to reground myself and get more experiences to expand my world view away from motorsports has been nice. Hopefully in 2023 I can get some new karting equipment and be competitive running a handful of races between NJMP and United Karting mainly while still keeping up with the paddle board racing (cause that’s a whole new kind of fun and competitive). Thanks to all my followers and supporters over the years and don’t worry I didn’t really go anywhere.
For those curious the start of paddle board racing this year has been relatively successful with 3 podiums so far in 3-mile events and a 7th in a 5 mile event. Looking forward to my first 6-mile race later in July.
