Kyra has been a standout player and a thrill to watch on the soccer field. This achievement reflects her commitment, dedication, and love for the game. She embodies what it means to be a true student-athlete —humble, hardworking, and a leader both on and off the field.

Congratulations to Senior, Ava Armbrecht, on being named the Madison Courier Softball Player of the Year!

This recognition is incredibly well-earned and could not go to a more deserving player. Ava is the definition of a team-first athlete — a quiet leader who leads by example, puts in the work without seeking the spotlight, and constantly lifts up those around her. Her unselfishness, drive, and consistency set the tone for our program.

Ava capped off her remarkable senior season with a selection to the 3A/4A All-State Team, further cementing her place in Lady Cubs history.

Way to go, Ava! We are so proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished. You’ve left a lasting legacy on the Madison Lady Cubs Softball Program. We are forever ! 🐾🥎👏🏻

Congratulations to Seniors Ava Armbrecht and Sarah Adams on earning Academic All-State honors from the Softball Coaches Association of Indiana! 🎓🥎

To be considered for this prestigious award, senior softball players must meet several academic and athletic criteria, including GPA, SAT scores, and percentage of games played. Ava and Sarah have excelled in both the classroom and on the field—truly embodying what it means to be a STUDENT-athlete.

To the dads, stepdads, grandpas, uncles, and all the legendary father figures out there — we see you. We see you cheering loud and always being ready with a high five — even after a tough game.

Thank you for the love, the laughs, the life lessons, and for being the steady, supportive presence our players count on.

Today, we hope you’re celebrated with good food and a nap in a comfy chair. You’re a huge part of what makes this team special — Happy Father’s Day!

Last night, we officially wrapped up our 2025 softball journey with our end-of-season banquet—an evening full of memories, celebration, appreciation, and so much pride. 💛🥎

We were able to recognize a few individuals who made this season especially meaningful. While every single player brought something unique and valuable to the team, we highlighted moments of excellence, leadership, growth, and grit that stood out throughout the year. The awards presented represent so much more than just stats or wins—they reflect effort, attitude, and the incredible impact these players have had on their teammates and this program.

While it was a wonderful night, we were unfortunately missing a few families due to pre-planned summer commitments, and we certainly missed having them there with us.

A huge thank you to the Ole Red Barn for providing such a beautiful space for us to gather, and to Montica Brawner for the delicious catering. We are so grateful for your support!

To all the families and players— thank you for the time, energy, and love you poured into this season. Your commitment means everything.

And finally, to our seniors— You’ve left your mark. Your leadership, your heart, and your example have helped shape the future of Madison Softball. You’ll always be part of this program, and you’ve laid a path that others will follow. We can never thank you enough for what you’ve done for us.

Here’s to the memories, the lessons, the growth, and the bonds that last far beyond the final out. 💛🐻

Happy Graduation Day to our Terrific Three! We are so incredibly sad to see them go, but excited to watch them soar in their next chapter of life. Each of them has left their mark on our program and will leave it better than they found it.
