Enrollment in our tournament is officially CLOSED and we have another fantastic turn out!
We strongly encourage you to come and watch the event!

Please NOTE the following:
1. ALL locations will be closed on Saturday, April 29, 2023, for our Tournament at Rockland High School in Rockland, MA from 10am-1pm. There will be signs posted to easily guide you once you arrive at the school entrance.
2. Please take note that there is a $10 per person spectator fee for ages 4 and up. Please inform any friends or family who plan to attend. There is NO unpaid spectating from the lobby! Correct change cash is greatly appreciated at the door.
3. The event promptly starts at 10am, doors open at 9:30am. Open seating. Make your best effort to be on time so you do not miss the IMPORTANT opening announcements.
If you are enrolled in the tournament, be SURE to review the rules page especially if this is your first tournament with us at AKKA. Visit http://akka.com/tournament/ (you will need to be logged into the members only website to view this page) Go to the bottom of the page for this IMPORTANT information.
4. For competitors in the point sparring divisions: Be SURE to have all the required protective gear. Check your bag twice before the event. Missing gear will prevent the student from participating. Be PREPARED!!!!!
5. All attendees are encouraged to wear AKKA apparel!
AKKA T- shirts will be on sale at a special price!
6. Uniform tops with the patches properly installed are REQUIRED for all competitors!

Annual Fall Tournament
This is one last reminder that applications for the Tournament are due by Thursday, April 27, by 6:30pm.

There are ABSOLUTELY NO Enrollments at the door of the event!

The event will be held at Rockland High School 54 MacKinlay Way, Rockland, MA
There will be sidewalk signs to guide everyone in.
We start promptly at 10am!!!

Please NOTE that ALL our locations will be closed on Saturday, April 29, 2023
If you are not yet enrolled, see your Program Director or Instructor right away.

If you ARE enrolled, please visit this page for the Tournament Rules http://www.akka.com/tournament . This is VERY important information for both competitors and spectators so they can have a functional understanding of how this event works.
If you invite any friends and/or family to spectate, please inform them there is a modest $10 entry fee per person. Kids under 4 are FREE.
This information will help minimize misunderstandings and maximize YOUR enjoyment of the event.
On a personal note, this event is WELL worth the investment of your time and money. When you see how proud the students are of themselves, you will not even think twice about the cost. $65 to enter is very reasonable considering the quality of the event including the size of the trophies. I was paying $65 and more to enter tournaments 25 plus years ago and the trophies were nothing impressive!
We keep the event moving and it will not take up your whole day!
Additionally, Some of you may or may not be aware, I am not only the founder of AKKA, I am also an AKKA parent. I have one of my own kids competing and 2 others helping to run the event(all 3 of them competed when they were of age). They always come home feeling great about themselves!

School Vacation Week Update
Just a reminder that all locations will be closed Monday, April 17, 2023, for Patriot's Day.

Bring A Friend to Class Week
AKKA will host a Bring a Friend week during April school vacation starting Saturday, April 15th to Saturday, April 22nd. Students are welcome to bring their friends and/or family to class for FREE to try out our training programs. There is NO Obligation!

Special Training Camp
We will be hosting a camp at our Rockland location on Patriot's Day, Monday, April 17, 2023. See the details below. See your Instructor or Program Director to reserve your spot or enroll online!
Due to limited capacity, spots will fill up quickly so do not wait if you are interested. Payment is required to reserve a spot.
