As Bear Creek Sports Park transitions to Hannibal Parks & Recreation management, we must also transition to a page managed by HPR staff. We will be posting updates on the HPR Bear Creek Sports Park page during the upcoming season.

Hannibal Parks & Recreation is seeking part-time employees for the upcoming summer. Candidates must be 15 years old by May 1 and can apply online at www.hannibalparks.org or stop by Hannibal City Hall.

Bear Creek Sports Park provides space for recreational and competitive baseball and softball leagues for area youth.
There are four playing fields, two of which are suited for softball and two fields that can hold both little league baseball and softball.

***Public Announcement***

Many of you may already know but we are making it official. The City of Hannibal has purchased Bear Creek Sports Park in the fall of 2021 and have taken over all management and duties of the park. We apologize for being late in announcing this to our families and the community. Effective immediately, please direct all questions regarding the use of the park, competitive and recreational leagues to the Hannibal Parks and Rec department and they would be happy to help.

On behalf of the previous Bear Creek Board of Directors, we first want to thank the families and the players that have supported the park over the years. We appreciate you choosing Bear Creek and we hope to you at the park again soon. We also want to thank the business and sponsors that have financially supported the ballpark and chose to invest in Bear Creek and make it what it is today. Lastly, we want to thank all the volunteers that have selflessly pour their time and effort into molding the park into what it is today. Our volunteers have given countless hours to construct new buildings and sidewalks to provide a better experience for our families, cleaned up and improved the overall look of the park, and worked the fields so our players had a place to play ball. To all these groups, we say thank you!

We are excited about what the future holds for Bear Creek under the Parks and Rec department. They have a group that is just as passionate about provide a ballpark that the citizens of Hannibal can be proud of. As always, we look forward to seeing you at the park soon!
