Wildlife Prairie Park Discgolf Course The Wildlife Prairie Park Disc Golf Course is a championship level 18 hole course with elevation on nearly every hole. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Surrounded by beautiful scenery of several lakes, 3 of the holes even pass over bodies of water! Hole length ranges from as short as 200 feet on white tees and nearly 1,000 feet on gold tees. Landscape and terrain is hilly and wooded. The disc golf course is located on the west side of Taylor Rd. across the street from the WPP Main Gate. Cash payment for play is accepted at the kiosk at the start

of the course or debit/credit at the Main Gate. Admission for the day will grant you access to disc golf, mountain biking, animal trails, fishing, hiking and more! Purchase a yearly pass today and gain access to all of these activities every time you visit! Cost:

Pet Policy:
All pets must be leashed on West Side Property. Please note that admission will grant you access to both sides of our property. For the safety and well being of our guests and animals, Wildlife Prairie Park does not allow dogs or other pets inside the East Side gates. What all did they accomplish today?
-Added a layer to a crib wall on short tee 6
-Tore out the old stairs and built new ones on hole 6
-Realigned all the steps on hole 7
-Put in new steps, realigned old steps, and fixed a drainage issue on long 8
-Moved a huge, dead, fallen tree off 8 long walkway
-Realigned, replaced, and added steps on hole 9
-Added a layer to the crib wall on long tee 11
-Cleaned off al 36 tee pads

We will be welcoming back the Ledgestone Tournament starting with the Flex this Wednesday! The net on 6 will go down tomorrow and the tournament baskets at 5 & 15 are in place. The course is ready to roll! Now someone needs to do something about the weather forecast 🤪

Tomorrow, Sat Sept 30th, is the Underdog Open disc golf tournament at Wildlife. 9:00am-12:30pm is the B Pool round and 2:00pm-5:00pm is the A Pool round. B Pool is the MA 40, MA2,3 & 4 and FA 1. A Pool is MPO, FPO and MA 1. Looks like a great day weather wise and some awesome players to watch! PLEASE WATCH FOR MOUNTAIN BIKERS - explanation below

NOTE TO PLAYERS There are several mountain bikers attempting to achieve "Mug of Dirt" and "Keg of Dirt" Challenges this weekend. Mug of Dirt includes about a 10 mile mountain bike loop in all 8 of our area's parks with driving time between in a 24 hour period. Keg of Dirt includes the same 8 loops but also riding between parks instead of driving in a 48 hour period. Our parks are located in Metamora, Washington, Pekin, Edwards and Brimfield. Both challenges are hella hard!
Due to this challenge, the tournament director has agreed to allow the mountain bike trails to remain open during the tournament. Please watch for bikers and wait until they pass. WE have asked the biking community to be just as aware and yield to players before crossing your fairways. Cross your fingers that this is conflict free!

So I am passing the 14 lake discs off to Andrew Wallen, your PFC president. He has graciously offered to contact people for me. He will be able to immediately recognize the discs you are asking about if they are in the batch. Maybe he will have better luck than I have had.
I am super surprised that of the 145 I pulled out of the lake, I only reunited about 4 people's so far. I gotta go back in. LOL. I do know that someone went in the lake last year (without notifying the park btw) and retrieved quite a few so perhaps yours went with that person.

So like my daughter used to say, "I did a thing yesterday". My thing was to put on my 3 mil shorty, grab my mask and snorkel and brave the muck and leeches on hole 14 to recover discs. Good news is that I found more discs than leeches, though there were plenty of leeches. I'm still feeling dizzy...lol

If you ever lost a disc on 14 at WPP, post up here. I may have it. Just wanted to shout out to my locals before I turn the discs over to the Ledgestone guys who will contact the long distance people. Once they have them, I am not sure where they all go.
