Celebrating my 14th year of social dancing post college. Now, theres going to be a bunch of lessons starting to be posted to this page and we are going to be creating a more robust community group to offer as many partner dances to the public as possible. That being said, add your friends and family to the page to show some support.

Right now Salsa and Bachata are being taught locally by Natacha Farias Ferreira and her partner. I Charles Wolford will be restarting my blues, slow, tango, and swing lessons once I have my space set up.

So, we are structuring a dance night or a few dance nights based on a 6pm lesson for 1 hour for $10 per person, then a free open dance time following it for 2hrs. I'm taking input on people's schedules and availability so we can figure out what the best nights are. We are also talking to spaces that want to host us.

If we can establish a solid dance community, I will bring back the Scarlet Masquerade as a yearly event. I've got extensive contacts to bring in dance troops from eua Claire, traverse City, Ottowa, the twin cities, and locally.

Also, anyone who'd like to help find raise to put on bigger events and parties, let me know. It takes at least 10 individuals to put on a good dance. And bands who'd like the opportunity to play for some events, working together can create more opportunity. So, that being said, please drop me information!

Lastly, with the way the world is going. We need joy. Dance brings joy so let's all dance!

So Ive been getting a lot of chatter and I'm looking to start a dance night again with available lessons as well as an open dance time. Feel free to message me about joining a group chat and if anyone has friends who want to be part of the movement, I'm going to lead the charge to doing more big annual dances again.

Dance Lessons Monday at 7pm to 9pm 15 a head with a drink included at the WolvenWood Axe bar in Hancock! Stop on in and learn some swing dancing!

Every Monday we will be doing open Lessons at the Wolven Wood Axe bar in Hancock starting at 7pm going until 9pm and open dance after. You get 2hrs of lessons and a drink for fifteen dollars. Pretty good deal. Bring a friend! We will be rotating between East Coast swing, slow dance, blues, and Argentine Tango.

Private lessons available for twenty five an hr.

Something that needs to be reiterated about this page. This is specifically for people to talk about dance related events in the area. This is no longer a business. It's been brought up several times from online related sources. KSD has not been operating for almost a good year to year and a half.
