Keweenaw Roller Derby Keweenaw Roller Derby is a 501c3 non-profit roller derby league based in the Copper Country!

The Keweenaw Roller Derby (KRD) is a flat track roller derby league based out of Hancock, MI that formed in September of 2012 for women over the age of 18. The league accepts those who are willing to work hard and have fun regardless of shape, size, orientation, and level of athleticism. Through practice, team involvement, and participation on the league board, KRD fosters self-esteem, community s

pirit, sportsmanship, and leadership skills. The league also coordinates with other roller derby leagues in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to help establish a thriving, committed roller derby community throughout the area.

CALLING ALL SKATERS! It’s time to get out your tin foil helmets and get ready for this year’s 12th Annual Solar System Smackdown! 🚀👽 This year’s mixer is September 5, 2026 at the Historic !

Registration is now open! Payment includes registration, game jersey, food, drink, and a whole evening of out of this world roller derby!

Action resumes THIS SATURDAY when your hometown Keweenaw Roller Derby take on the Mid-Wisconsin All-Stars from !

Doors open at 5 with 1/2 price 🍻drinks until 6 pm! First whistle starts the game at 6pm. Food by on site!

New kids korner, new seating set up, new merch, and new derby action for this season!

Come join them (and KRD) in showing love, support, and solidarity for the LGBTQIA+ Keweenaw Community on June 6 from 1 pm - 5 pm for the Rainbow Connections Pridefest!

ICE does NOT belong in ANY community.

The Keweenaw Roller Derby Community unequivocally denounces the actions of ICE and the unnecessary violence our government has deemed acceptable.

ICE continues to violate human rights through racial profiling, the separation of families, operating without due process, and the escalating use of aggressive and deadly tactics against members of our communities.

We stand in solidarity with all communities across the nation who are being targeted by an agency operating with complete disregard for human life and the justice system.

We believe our values must be reflected not only in words, but in action. We encourage our community to support in whatever ways they are able—by contacting legislators, donating, protesting, volunteering, signing petitions to halt federal funding to ICE, and continuing to share information and resources.

Silence is not an option. Solidarity is a responsibility.
