We are pleased to announce the arrival of Mr. Rudolph Ortega as the new Director of the Boo Williams Sportsplex. Mr. Ortega brings a wealth of experience in managing and supervising the daily operations of personnel and facilities. He will oversee all daily operations, including events, to ensure our building functions smoothly and efficiently.

A cornerstone of youth sports in Hampton, the Boo Williams Sportsplex is a premier indoor facility built on a powerful vision: creating opportunity through athletics. Founded by Hampton native and community leader Boo Williams, the Sportsplex reflects a legacy that began in 1982 with a small summer league and has grown into one of the nation’s leading youth basketball programs, welcoming teams and athletes from across the country.

The 135,000-square-foot facility features eight basketball courts, twelve volleyball courts, indoor hockey fields, and an indoor track and field, hosting everything from local leagues to major regional and national tournaments year-round.

A legacy of mentorship, teamwork, and opportunity—shaping athletes and strengthening Hampton, one game at a time!
