With knowledge that the game of baseball is a traditional right of passage from parents to children; and that communities look to their local baseball team for the life lessons of this game and look for wholesome family
entertainment. The Peninsula Pilots pledge to the communities of the Peninsula of Virginia that the effort by the players, coaches, staff, and owners shall be to provide summer collegiate baseball at War Memorial Stadium. That the team shall perform in a manner which promotes the game of baseball and all of its goodness, not only winning, but sportsmanship, civic responsibility and character to themselves and to all of our fans. That the staff shall provide that the games are viewed in a safe, clean, and wholesome family environment and shall conduct itself in a manner that is entertaining and professional at all times. The ownership shall provide the Peninsula a family entertainment venue where return on investment is desired and sound business practices are performed, but shall not be placed above the quality of the game of baseball and the reasonable needs of the community.,
