🎃 We’re Looking for Trunk or Treat Volunteers! 👻

Our Trunk or Treat is back on Saturday, October 24th from 4:30–6:00 PM at Hampden Town Hall, and we’re looking for some creative volunteers to decorate trunks!

If you enjoy getting into the Halloween spirit and want to help make the event fun for local kids, we’d love to have you join us! 🎃🍬🏆

More trunks = more fun! We’ll have prizes for the best decorations, so bring your A-game!

Make sure to get those last splashes in! The Memorial Park Splash Pad will have its final day of operation on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

🎉 Niccum Field is looking better than ever! ⚾

The reconstruction of Niccum Field at Memorial Park is officially complete, and the results speak for themselves! The field has never looked better and is ready for many more seasons of games, practices, and memories for our community.

A huge thank you to RAD Sports for doing a fantastic job on the reconstruction, and to the Hampden Community Preservation Committee for making this much-needed field improvement possible.

🚀 Have plans for the final week of summer break? ☀️

HWRSD starts school on August 31st! If you are looking for an exciting way to keep your kids active, learning, and entertained during that last week of summer, look no further than Mad Science Rockin' Rockets! 🪐✨

Your kids will dive into the wonders of astronomy, experiment with various flight designs, and even build their very own rocket to take home! 🛠️🚀

📅 When: August 24–28 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
👧👦 Grades: 1–6
📍 Where: 85 Wilbraham Rd, Hampden, MA
💰 Cost: $180 (Includes all materials and the takeoff rocket!)🎒
