Congratulations to the 2005 World Series Hampden Sydney College Baseball Team on their well-deserved induction into the Hampden-Sydney College Athletics Hall of Fame on September 19, 2025! 🏆

During the induction dinner, Jason Hanky ’06 gave a heartfelt and honest reflection on the team’s journey — the highs, the lows, and everything in between. That championship season remains one of the most iconic in Hampden-Sydney Tigers history, and it was truly special to welcome the team back to campus.

🐯🐾🐅 Hampden Sydney College Baseball Coach Michael Mulvey stepped onto the mound at a recent Tri‑City Chili Peppers Cosmic Baseball game—and turned a routine pitch into pure Hampden-Sydney Tigers energy. Under 18 powerful 500‑watt UV black lights, everything from jerseys to bats, bases, and even the baseball itself glowed neon—a surreal glow spectacle only possible under black light magic.

This bold night of baseball was brought to life by Chris Martin (H‑SC ’11), Tri‑City’s co‑owner and Hampden-Sydney College alum. Major thanks to Chris and the Chili Peppers for powering up every fan with laser-sharp spirit and glow. It wasn’t just a game—it was Hampden-Sydney Big Hitters Club pride shining in a bold new light.
