🏊‍♂️ Join the Hammonton Stingrays Summer Swim Team! 🏊‍♀️

The Hammonton Stingrays, based at the Hammonton Swim Club, offer a fun and competitive summer season for swimmers ages 6–18 who can swim at least one 25-meter length unassisted. (Per league rules, swimmers must also be members of the swim club)

📅 Season Highlights
• Evening practices begin: Tuesday, May 26 (Monday-Thursday)
• Morning practices begin: Week of June 22 (Monday-Thursday)
• Five Saturday morning swim meets: starting June 20 and continuing through July

Whether your swimmer is new to the team or returning for another season, the Stingrays provide a great opportunity to build skills, make friends, and enjoy a fun summer of competition in the pool.

A completed registration form may also be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to the Hammonton Swim Club. Payment must be made by cash or check, but it is not required prior to 5/23. Submitting a registration form in advance helps us plan ahead.

Believe it or not, as of today (President’s Day 🇺🇸), we are just 99 days away from the Hammonton Stingrays’ first practice of the summer season — Tuesday evening, 5/26!

Planning is already well underway, and registration information will be available by mid-March.

We’re looking forward to five Saturday morning meets (6/20–7/25, no activities on 7/4) and the league championship weekend at Elmer Swim Club (7/31–8/2).

Summer will be here before we know it… get ready to swim! 🏊‍♂️

🌊 Exciting News for Students in the Hammonton School District! 🌊

Did you know Hammonton High School offers Swimming as a Club Sport/Activity during the winter season (post-Thanksgiving into February)?

Now entering its second year, the HHS Swim Club is open to all Hammonton High School students – whether a swimmer is experienced, new to the sport, or has never been part of the Stingrays summer team. Swimming is a fun, lifelong activity that builds teamwork, fitness, and confidence.

👉 Attention 8th Grade Families!

There will be an interest meeting for 8th graders interested in joining the HHS Swim Club this year. The interest meeting for students is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29th, in the Hammonton Middle School cafeteria, following homeroom.

This is a great opportunity for your student to try something new, make friends, and enjoy a sport that lasts a lifetime.

The Hammonton Stingrays are deeply saddened by the passing of Dan Russoman, longtime sports reporter and editor for The Hammonton Gazette.

Dan began his work with The Hammonton Gazette upon its founding in 1997 and, from the very beginning, was a dedicated supporter of youth, school, and recreational sports in Hammonton. He was a familiar face at countless Stingrays swim meets, and his commitment to telling the stories of local athletes made a lasting impact on our community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dan’s family and loved ones. He will be truly missed.
