Local Facebook friends and baseball fans. Come check out the Northshore Dirtbags this weekend at beautiful historic Harbour Field on the Mandeville Lakefront. The Dirtbags will be hosting the 1st Annual Dirtbag Derby baseball tourney. We will have great food, great drinks and some great baseball. Come on out and support your local Dirtbags!!

The Dirtbags want to say Thank You to the Northwestern State Baseball Team and Coaches. The boys really enjoyed watching you play at Southeastern University and they loved the attention the players and coaches showed them.

Great Weekend for the Dirtbags. Third place finish in the Cajun Classic in Erath, LA.

The Dirtbags came out charging Sunday morning behind the steller pitching performance of Steven Spalitta who threw a complete game, striking out 11 and 1 walk against a very good Tornado team.

Game 2 saw the Dirtbags explode for 11 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning after being down 5-1. Colby Zeigler started the game but ran into trouble in the 2nd inning. Christian Waguespak and Cole Hillberry finished the game in relief and shut down a very good cubs team. The offensive explosion came in the 4th inning plating 11 runs and giving the Dirtbags the lead and they never looked back securing the victory.

The Third game of the day was against the eventual tournament champions, Bullet Baseball. Bullet Baseball edged the Dirtbags 7-6 with a run in the bottom of the 6th inning. Logan Huth started the game for the Dirtbags and went 4 strong innings. Strong defensive play by the entire staff held the game close until the eventual winning run crossed the plate.
