The Hammond Bulldogs are looking for dedicated athletes who are ready to take the next step in their baseball journey!

We’re building more than just winning teams. We’re building confident players, strong teammates, and young men who love the game.

Whether your child is just getting started in T-Ball or preparing for Babe Ruth Baseball, Fall Ball is a great opportunity to continue developing skills, build confidence, and have fun with friends.

⚾️ FREE MLB PITCH, HIT & RUN COMPETITION ⚾️

Hammond Optimist Youth Sports is excited to host an official Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run event on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Hammond Optimist Sports Complex!

📍 Location:
Hammond Optimist Sports Complex

🕒 Cost:
FREE for all participants!

👦👧 Who Can Participate?
Boys and girls ages 7-14 (Age determined as of November 15, 2026)

Age Divisions:
• 7-8
• 9-10
• 11-12
• 13-14

Pitch, Hit & Run is MLB’s official skills competition where participants showcase their abilities in pitching, hitting, and running. Competitors earn points based on their performance, with the opportunity to advance from the Local Event to a Team Championship and potentially all the way to the Finals held during the 2026 MLB World Series! 🌟

This is an incredible FREE opportunity for young baseball and softball players to test their skills, compete, and have fun while being part of an official MLB program.
