Not trying to steal Georgia Outdoor News' glory but saw this magazine cover at Coopers in Waverly Hall and noticed the smiling hunter is shooting an Elite-Archery bow.... hmmm. If you want a smiling picture on the cover of the Rolling St... sorry wrong butterfly.... then you need to come to and shoot the new Elite Varos.

As we get close to season, don't forget those essentials.... soap/shampoo, wind checkers, scents and of course broadhead...

That velvet is hanging on like that one guy that is going to procrastinate until the last minute.... and you'll get a picture opening morning of him hard horned. Stop waiting. Come on in and get dialed in for September 12th. We want you to be super confident in your shot process. Every day we have customers tell us "No one has ever told me that. " Let us help you build that confident swing. Also the 3D course is still set if you need a little practice. We will be around off and on all day tomorrow. Saturday will be 9 to noon again unless folks still need help.

Calls are ramping up the closer we get to opening day. We are available every afternoon this week and we will be at the shop Saturday from 9 to noon or until everyone has been helped. Come see us.

Oh yeah we are getting calls about shooting the Outdoor Life bow of the year, the Elite Archery Varos. We do have several in stock in solid colors, Realtree and Mossy Oak. We even have a lefty in Bottomland. Come shoot one

The Just Shoot event was a big success. Thank you to our great friends and customers. The goal was two fold.... get folks shooting ahead of September 12ths Georgia opener and have some fellowship with like minded shooters. I think we accomplished both. Its hot out but go out and shoot your bow. Build confidence in your equipment. No excuses. We had a 92 year old grandmother take a shot with a Genesis bow Saturday. Stop making excuses.

The final results of one group shooting the 100 yard shot. We had a bunch of folks try it. Maybe we will get tagged in a few pictures or videos. It was fun for a bunch of Georgia bowhunters that never shoot over 40 yards.
