The sudden passing of Chuck Norris hits me really hard because he was such a strong role model for me. In all the stories he was in, he was the ultimate hero that never gave up. He would get knocked down and beaten up and still would get back up.

This is why when they started telling those ridiculous jokes about him I wasn't surprised. Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee are in the same legendary status! Thanks for all the awesome and powerful memories Carlos Ray Norris. You will be missed.

Chuck Norris has joined Bruce Lee In Heaven. I was invited to the Chuck Norris Gala in Texas and was looking forward to attending and meeting Chuck Norris in person. He was my idol along with Bruce Lee and inspired me because he was a Buddhist Christian. He fought Bruce Lee on screen in the iconic scene with the cat.

On road trips to pass the time my family and I told Chuck Norris and laughed a lot. His Chuck Norris joke book entertained me on my many combat deployments in the U.S. Army. His tv series Walker Texas Ranger I never missed an episode. His Kickstart Kids non-profit organization inspired a lot of young and old people a lot.

Thank you for all the wonderful and awesome memories and experiences, Chuck! You will be greatly missed!
