SGB CAMP 2026 UPDATE

Thank you again for your patience. We were dealing with possible facilities issues, juggling the various school dismissals, and odd July 4th timing. Here is what we have come up with this summer to help accommodate all:

Location: Steinert High School (phewwww)

BOTH WEEKS:
Monday through THURSDAY 9am to 3pm (adding an extra 30 mins)

Week 1: 6/29 to 7/2 (school will be closed on Friday 7/3 for July 4th)

Week 2 7/13 - 7/16

Because we will be forced to do a 4-day week in observance of the July 4th holiday in Week 1, we will keep it consistent for Week 2. As a compromise we will add 30 extra minutes to the end of each day, extending camp and going from 9am to 3pm this summer.

We received a positive update today! We got clearance to use SHS (originally we were told we could not). We will be finalizing details for our camp weeks; the goal is to accommodate many of the schools that get out much later this summer. I need one more day, and I will post the weeks! We will try to turn out the links by the weekend!

Good morning!! As the snow is falling, I know many of us are thinking about warmer temps and SGB Camp time! I know many of you are waiting patiently for us to release the dates for this summer! We are taking into consideration all schools' end dates, and we are working through some information we were just given about some construction being done in our typical home location. We will need another week or so until we have confirmed weeks and location. Thank you again for your patience! Coach Jacobs
