🖤💛 LIGHT UP OUR COMMUNITY FOR TORREN #49💛🖤

The Stonington Bears Youth Lacrosse family joins our community in mourning the heartbreaking loss of Torren O’Grady

Torren was one of our own—a Bears lacrosse player, teammate, friend, and part of a family that extends far beyond the field.

We ask our Bears family and our entire community including our local youth sports leagues to come together in remembrance.

Please leave a light on and a lacrosse stick on your front porch as a simple but powerful tribute to a young life taken far too soon.

Let every porch light shine for Torren.
Let every lacrosse stick remind his family that they are surrounded by a community standing beside them in love and support.

Some of our rising 8th graders had the opportunity to speak at the Meriden Lions Club meeting. This season, Meriden Youth Lacrosse was honored to be a recipient of the President's Grant, receiving nearly $10,000 worth of equipment, including new goals, a custom tent, storage equipment, balls, and more.

Thank you to our players for representing our league so well and sharing their experiences with the club. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Meriden Lions Club for their generosity and continued support of youth sports in our community. Your investment is helping us grow the game and provide a better experience for our players. 🥍

What a great end of season party! Thank you to everyone who came out. We enjoyed great food, great company, and plenty of laughs. The first-ever Dads vs. Players Game was a huge success, and both the dads and players had a blast. Thanks for making it such a memorable way to wrap up another fantastic season! 🥍🎉

MU took on the Meriden High School Boys Lacrosse team in a kickball game, and after a great battle, the high school boys came out on top with a 20-17 victory. 🥍
A huge thank you to the high school players for coming out and spending time with our youth athletes. It was a great experience for everyone involved and a perfect way to celebrate another successful season.

Reminder: If you have not yet turned in your helmet or any borrowed equipment, please contact your coach as soon as possible to arrange a return.
