Taught myself by listening to the Pennsylvania state turkey calling champion on cassette.
Hooked ever since.

This never makes sense to me. The summer is hot and dry, so the ban always continues. Basically, the burn ban never ends...

This week is the start of the Ohio burn ban for the months of October and November.

📞 Before starting a controlled burn, contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 740-286-6464.

🚨 If a fire becomes uncontrolled or emergency assistance is needed, call 911 immediately.

Please take these restrictions seriously and use extra caution when burning. A few minutes of preparation can prevent a small fire from becoming a dangerous situation.
