Kyle Love and I had a great night hunting some Predators. Camo Dust sure saved that hunt because that Yote circled straight down wind of our position and the call. We got him close enough for the shot from over 300 yards. I sure made a believer out of Kyle and he’s a full time user now, LOL.

Good day all. Gregory here boy has it been a day. I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to Micheal Armstrong. For those of you that do not know him, much like me 4 years ago this man was almost hog tied and kidnapped to get him out on the Ice. Since then he has been a very important cog in the gears for this gathering. I have been told that he has lost his house and all belongings to include but not limited to all of his outdoor fishing and hunting gear, clothes, house, everything for a house. there has been a venmo account set up for donations you can also send donations to Veterans Creed OutDoors Team Iowa care of Mr. Armstrong @ Tri-Valley Bank, 104 Main P.O. Hello my name Is Gregory I am the new state lead for VCO TEAM IOWA. I would to just say thank you to all for this opportunity to still serve our brothers and sisters here in Iowa, across the nation and those still abroad.Now down to business! It’s that time of year again, even if the weather says otherwise. This years 2024 Salute to Veterans Ice Fishing getaway is here. It will be held at Clear Lake Ia the 2nd weekend of February Friday 9th-Sunday 11th. If you are or know of a veteran that would like to join us this year please comment with name branch of service and Facebook link. One of my best friends Jeremy Wood is in search of a fishing boat that’s atleast 16’ that he’s looking to rebuild and fix up to gift to a deserving Veteran. If you have one or know of one that would be a good platform to start from let me or him know. Preferably an aluminum boat but if it’s fiberglass and the bull is in good condition it will be considered. Jeremy usually does atleast one of these a year and NEVER asks for anything in return other than to enjoy it and maybe use it to help out others. The outdoors is my favorite place for some therapy and I have seen it literally and undoubtedly save lives. It feels great to be a small part of something like this. Let’s help him do something that we all wish more people would do!

We have an opportunity for a bowfishing trip towards the end of this month for 2 veterans in Biloxi MS. This trip will not be a totally free trip! You’d be responsible for your travel, food, license and lodging but there is no guide fee. If you would be interested please let us know asap below in the comments and we will get more details. You have until Wednesday to let us know or we will send this trip to one of our other teams!
