HALLSVILLE ATHLETICS EARNS SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

Hallsville School District is proud to celebrate the academic accomplishments of its student-athletes as multiple Hallsville athletic programs have been recognized by the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) with Scholastic Achievement Awards for the 2024–2025 school year. The honor recognizes teams that demonstrate excellence in the classroom while competing at a high level in interscholastic activities.

Hallsville teams earning the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award for maintaining team GPAs between 3.50 and 4.00 include:

HHS BOYS BASKETBALL CLAIMS DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

In a historic and hard-fought battle, the Hallsville High School Boys Basketball team defeated Mexico in an exciting overtime matchup to capture the District Championship — the program’s first district title in 35 years!

The Indians showed incredible determination and resilience throughout the game, battling until the final moments to secure the victory and bring the championship trophy back to Hallsville.

With momentum on their side, the Indians now look ahead to quarterfinals!

RAEGAN ROMINE RECOGNIZED AMONG MISSOURI’S TOP SCHOLAR-ATHLETES IN GIRLS GOLF

The Hallsville Lady Indians Golf Program proudly congratulates Raegan Romine for earning Academic All-State Honors from the Missouri High School Golf Coaches Association (MHSGCA) for the 2025 season.

Romine’s achievement reflects her exceptional dedication both in the classroom and on the course. To qualify for this prestigious honor, student-athletes must meet strict academic and athletic standards, including maintaining at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA or meeting specific ACT/SAT benchmarks, while also competing as a varsity golfer in good standing.

The Lady Indians Golf Team, under the leadership of Coach Rachel Sides, celebrates Romine’s commitment to excellence and the balance she demonstrates between academics and athletics. Her recognition by the MHSGCA highlights the hard work, discipline, and integrity she brings to the Hallsville program.

Today concluded our regular season for golf! So proud of each and every single girl who came out for golf and our future is incredibly bright!

Last week, the girls had their final match where we hosted South Callaway and Salisbury. The Lady Indians finished in first! 💜💛⛳️💛💜

Sydnee Fielder was the medalist for the meet, with a personal best score of 50! Izzy Maseman scored a 52 and Bella Calahan a 59. 👏🏻👏🏻

We took 6 today for a fun scramble/shamble/best ball tournament at Hail Ridge in Boonville. The duo of Izzy Maseman and Bella Calahan shot a 92, which was the lowest score for our team.

The girls have learned so much this year and battled some crazy competition, especially within the Tri-County Conference.
