This sound is what’s keeping me together the past couple days, and I’m gonna keep this tips short.

Cook them IN your food. It just adds a little ✨ flavor ✨

You don’t HAVE to eat them raw to get nutritional benefits, and that’s what I see the most when someone starts adding veggies. Potatoes, onions, zucchini, and legumes are all popular veggies to cook with.

The smaller they’re cut, the less texture, and from my experience, that’s a lot of peoples main issue with veggies. Not the actual taste.

At least TRY. Your taste buds change as you age. At the very least, eat the veggies you do like. Preferably daily but at least 3-4 times a week because I know eating the same thing every day gets old. But try new things. Cook/prepare it differently than you had before. Add some BaSaLmiC vInEGaR 🧅 🧄 🥬

Need help facing the January gym crowd? Or maybe looking for a more personal experience? Hi, I’m Kelsey, a personal trainer with almost five years experience.

During my time as a personal trainer, I’ve helped clients of all walks of life. Seniors, peri/postpartum, vertigo, foot drop, as well as general fitness, weight loss, and many others.

I currently training at as well as a spare bedroom I’ve turned into a gym. I offer my services 6 days a week and, lucky you, I have room for new clients! 🙊

Everybody knows being active during the holidays 🎄So here’s a few of my favorite tips!

1. Plan ahead. Everybody’s week is gonna look a little different the next couple weeks. Rather it be last minute shipping, early celebrations, different work schedule, you most likely already know what your schedule looks like by now as well as what can and can’t be changed. Even if you have to cut your workout a little short, doing something is almost always better than nothing.
2. Be active at the celebration. If you know the event is gonna be an all day sorta thing, play some sort of game at the event. You don’t even have to keep score. Play a game of HORSE, kickball, football, ⚽️ World Cup, tennis, whatever. I guarantee there’s a child that would love to play even if none of the adults want to.
3. If all else fails, take the day off. One missed workout won’t ruin your progress. There’s only so much time in a day. The gym will still be there tomorrow, and your trainer isn’t gonna punish you for rescheduling a workout (with 24 hour notice at least 😉)
