🅵🅸🆁🆂🆃 🅴🆅🅴🆁 Following rigorous rules put forth by U.S. Figure Skating, SAM conducted its very first virtual test session. During today’s session, eight skaters video recorded their patterns and programs, which will be transmitted to and reviewed by a remote panel of judges. Traditionally, skaters are tested before a live panel of judges who often travel great distances to test sessions. Virtual test sessions and live sessions have one thing in common—NERVES. Skaters, coaches, and local officials feel the same performance anxiety and pressure in both types of tests. In the end, it all went well. Congratulations, SAM skaters!
