๐ Join us for a special night at the rink as Hallock Youth Hockey hosts a Hockey Fights Cancer Game on Friday, March 13.
๐ 5:30 PM
๐ Sq**rt B vs North Stars Youth Hockey
๐ Hallock Ice Arena
This game is more than just hockey, itโs about coming together as a community to support those who are battling cancer and to honor those who have fought before them.
How you can help make an impact:
โข We have an online fundraising platform raising money for the American Cancer Society: http://main.acsevents.org/goto/hallock
โข The night of the game we will have a raffle and a Chuck-a-Puck contest between the 2nd and 3rd periods, with all proceeds from the raffle and Chuck-a-Puck going directly to the Pollestad family.
One of our very own Hallock Youth Hockey families is currently in the fight against glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Jeremy Pollestad, husband, dad, and avid hockey lover, was diagnosed in January 2025. Glioblastoma is a fast-growing cancer that affects the brain and requires incredibly difficult treatments.
On March 13, we are honored that Jeremy will drop the ceremonial first puck before the game. It will be a special moment for our hockey family as we show our support and stand beside the Pollestad family during this fight.
Cancer has impacted so many families in our community, and this is a chance for all of us to stand together, show support, and make a difference.
Letโs fill the arena and show what a small community with a big heart can do.
