Half of all lymph nodes of the body (~300 out of ~600) work on lymphatic drainage of the head, face and neck. And if the lower part of the lymph moves due to the movement of the leg muscles, then what pumps the lymph from the head? Face, head and neck massage is not only about beauty, but also about health.

What can actually help if you recognize this pattern:

• manual work (like what we do at Lymface)
• night guards — they give the jaw muscles real rest
• chewing on both sides
• checking dental work if something feels “off”

Some people go for Botox,
but in this case the client shared that it actually made the skin feel looser after.

What’s interesting is that TMJ doesn’t just “appear”.

In her case, it actually started after a very specific moment —
she was on a roller coaster, screamed hard,
and felt her jaw click.

But triggers can be very different:

• long dental appointments (mouth open for hours)
• chewing mostly on one side
• uneven dental work / restorations
• incorrect bite height
• even something as simple as biting into an apple the wrong way

Thank you beautiful for sharing your story ❤️

Lymphatic Stagnation Pattern

The muscles of the face are closely connected to the nervous and hormonal systems.

Even something as simple as a smile can stimulate the release of “feel-good” hormones like dopamine and serotonin.

Today my patient noticed something interesting — she said that when she skips her facial massage for a while, her face starts to look tense and even a little angry.

And that makes sense.

When facial muscles stay in chronic tension, they can hold patterns of stress in the jaw, temples, and neck. These patterns affect circulation, lymphatic flow, and even the signals sent to the brain through the nervous system.

When we relax these muscles through facial work, we’re not only improving movement, circulation, and lymphatic drainage — we’re also influencing how the nervous system and hormonal responses behave.

Your face is not just skin.
It’s part of your physiology.
And don’t forget to smile ❤️

Would you call this facial biohacking? Thanks to beautiful ❤️

Most facial treatments focus only on the skin. But the face is deeply connected to the neck, circulation, breathing and muscular tension.

In this case, releasing tension in the neck and cranial base immediately improved facial balance and lymphatic flow.

This is Case #1 from The 50 Faces Project — a series exploring how functional patterns shape the face over time.

Every face tells a story.

Aging doesn’t start in the skin, it starts in the muscles. Emotions and overworked muscles tense the muscles and the myofibrils are pressed and squeezed , and if nothing is done about it, muscle nodes and blocks appear.Circulation and metabolism deteriorate, and then atrophy may even occur. What about the skin? The skin loses support, nutrition and becomes saggy.
