Miami Kids Triathlon The 2014 Miami Kids Triathlon Series & Duathlon races are underway. Our next race is March 30th info on www.flatrinews.com Ages for the tri races are 5-15.

Come join us for the 2014 Miami Kids Triathlon Series & Duathlon races. Our tri races are on separate dates from our kids duathlons. Ages for the duathlon are 5-15 & we now have a 16 & up category. Medals & shirts for all finishers. 3 TROPHIES PER AGE not per age group=Per Age-Male & Female

Hello folks, Has been awhile but rest assure with all of the hurdles we were presented at our race site we are finally ready to race.
The Miami Kids Triathlon for this year is dated for October 22, 2023. Registration is open. Go to active.com. Type in Miami Kids Triathlon and it will send you to registration Our field is limited to 65 kids. We presently have 25 kids signed up. Look forward to seeing all of you.

Our Nov 7th Miami Kids Triathlon event is in the books. First event in over 19 months due to the shutdowns. The kids were amazing as we had cool temps in the AM that eventually turned into a classic S. Fla morning. Our final event for this year is Dec 12th. It is a kids duathlon. run, bike, run. Limited to 60 kids. We have 41 spots remaining. You can go to active to signup.
Sincere thanks to all that assisted in the event, especially my staff that showed up at midnight to set up the course infrastructure.

The Nov 7th, Miami Kids Triathlon to be staged at FIU Biscayne Bay Campus is now sold out.
Our next event is the Miami Kids Duathlon which is dated for Dec 12th and will be at FIU Biscayne Bay campus.
Registration is on active.com. Type in the search bar Miami Kids Duathlon & it will move you forward to registration.

Register on www.active.com Type in Miami Kids Triathlon or Miami Kids Duathlon once you open up to active. The kids have not raced since March of 2020 & we are all ready to welcome them back. Limited to 60 kids as we are doing a mass start per age group in the long course swim pool The only one of its kind in the nation.!This is exciting for sure! We have 20 spots remaining. Hello folks,
We are still awaiting approval from FIU to begin staging events. As of now we are going by the guidelines of the college which at this time are not favorable for our events. I have been assured once the restrictions are lifted we will be back staging events.
We are training 3 days per week. Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning at Oleta State Park in North Miami and on Sunday morning near the Aventura Mall. If you are interested leave a post or send on messenger. Hope to see you all soon. Our team also stages a race for the members of the team one time per month at Oleta. Beach party after the event. Great for the kids!

Although we are still restricted from staging any events at FIU due to the virus, the Miami Kids Triathlon Team is still in training.
We train:
Thursday at Oleta Park 4:30-6PM
Swim Bike Run
Saturday at Oleta Park 9-10:30AM
Swim Bike Run
Sunday at Aventura behind the Macy’s
Bike Run 8:30-10AM
For the more advanced kids. 10 miles of biking averaging speeds between 15-17 mph with sprints at or above 20 mph
