It was another amazing weekend for The Bike Hut Classic 2026! We’re officially up to 315 riders, and there’s one week to go to get to 400. Will you join us and help us meet our goal?!
Fastest times clocked so far:
Andrew Ernst (Men 30 - 39) 31:40!
Jen Tavé (Women 30 - 39) 32:30!
On the fundraising front, Peter Heller of Allez, Allez, Allez! is our top fundraising individual, bringing in an impressive $7575, while Team Sheeper leads the bike clubs at $15,875! WOW!

In other news, we had a wonderful Women’s Ride on Saturday (pictured above and below). I even dusted off my gravel bike and happily joined some amazing females - some out for the social vibes and others who are competitive cyclists (shout out to Pen Velo's Norma Hilton, a triple event 2026 USA Cycling Masters National Champion!), all of us in support of Abundant Grace! We started the morning with yoga thanks to Tracey White of Coastside Yoga Collective, then hit Tunitas. Speedy Team Sheeper was out on a "Tunitas Yo-Yo Ride" to hit the Bike Hut Classic segment, so we saw them going DOWN on our way UP, AND again at the top as we were enjoying some very special popsicles by Moss + Wonder. It was an absolute blast! Thank you to all who came out to stretch and ride.

Meanwhile, we are very close to hitting $85k in our overall fundraising!!! What a tremendous showing of support for Abundant Grace! We are humbled and ever grateful.
