Daring Reinventors

Daring Reinventors I do this through one on one coaching, workshops, group coaching and presentations

My work springs from my own reinvention journey.

I empower people to navigate career and lifestyle transition by re-imagining their future, building their confidence and taking bold action so they can experience the joy of living their potential I guide professional and business women, who are seeking more meaning and joy in their lives and are facing transition, to reconnect to what matters most to them and reinvent their lives. A little over

twenty years ago, I was a “successful” attorney, who woke up one day to discover that I was living a “lifestyle” instead of my life. I spent the next year reconnecting to what was truly important to me, discovering my purpose in life and redefining what success means to me. As a result of my exploration, I left a fifteen year legal career to reinvent myself as an entrepreneur with Mary Kay Cosmetics. As a sales leader, I’ve coached hundreds of women in managing their transition from employee to business owner, training them in personal development, customer service and leadership. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to design a life that’s been aligned with my priorities, abundant and fulfilling. Several years ago, I was called to reinvent myself again by creating a new business - Daring Reinventors to support women who are – as I once was - feeling trapped on a joyless success treadmill. In addition to coaching women to recapture the joy and meaning in their work and lives, I offer corporate presentations and workshops to empower women so they can be all they can be in work and life. These have included "Thriving Through Transition", "Reinvent Your Work/Life", "Break Your Confidence Barrier" and the Art of Self Promotion."

Great insight.

When you let your thoughts dictate your actions, you alter your days according to your fears and insecurities. Let yourself live according to possibility instead.

While driving home today from an errand, I was surprised when my favorite radio station suddenly started playing Taps.

I glanced at the clock and remembered that every Memorial Day at 3PM we’re asked to pause and remember those brave men and women who gave their lives for our country in all the conflicts we’ve been in engaged in.
If you haven’t taken a moment to remember and offer a prayer for them today, there’s still time!

“For love of country they accepted death, and thus resolved all doubts, and made immortal their patriotism and their virtue.” —James A. Garfield

I love the agile mindset - there's no such thing as a "good" or "bad" emotion.

Rigid: Emotions fall into two categories: good/bad, acceptable/unacceptable.

Agile: All emotions are valid, acceptable aspects of our being. There is no such thing as a "bad" emotion—everything we experience serves a purpose.

Self-Compassion is so important for thriving in these uncertain times!

True resilience doesn’t come from perfection — it comes from meeting yourself with kindness, especially in the moments you feel most imperfect. Self-compassion is the foundation that allows you to rise, grow, and thrive.

What if you could reset your brain in just five minutes a day?

When we’re swimming in uncertainty, our nervous system takes a hit. That’s why one of the best investments we can make is a simple practice to wash away anxiety and leave us relaxed, positive and resilient.

I’ve been using this breathing exercise from Elissa Epel’s book The Stress Prescription, for the last several months and it works!

Here’s how to do it:
🧘‍♀️ Find a quiet place and lie down.
⏲ Set a timer for 5 minutes.
😌 Close your eyes and breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds.
⏸ Hold for 6 seconds.
🌬 Exhale slowly for 8 seconds.
🔁 Repeat, breathe deep into your diaphragm and imagine your breath radiating through your body.

Do this consistently and you’ll notice:
• Less anxiety
• More clarity
• A greater sense of control, even in uncertain times.

Sometimes the most powerful transformations start with the simplest steps.
