Outrigger Zone We are committed to bringing outrigger canoes to the world that are lighter, stronger & faster Ozone has been designing and building canoes for 20 years.

Our designers include Johnny Puakea, Kai Bartlett and Michael Giblin. We build the Kahekai, Ares, Antares, Scorpius, Ehukai, Storm and Hurricane OC1. The Tempest OC2. Malolo and Vortex OC6. Ozone was founded by Mike Giblin, a wall street drop out who discovered his passion for paddling and designing ocean canoes in Maui. As a family business, Wendy Giblin runs sales and customer service, Mike's brother in law Brian Dalbey manages the factory, Julie Aguera-Dalbey is responsible for inventory, parts and accounting. Together the team is committed to making high quality products and an ever improving customer service experience. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring canoes to a worldwide community of paddlers.

Puakea’s new OC1, the Sentire, made its debut at the Gorge Downwind Champs surrounded by world class paddlers and some of the best downwind conditions in the world.

Combining the quick response and acceleration of the Cantare with the higher top speed of the Volare, the Sentire climbs over bumps easily and carries speed with less effort.

We sat down last week with Johnny Puakea, Ryland Hart, Miles Orr, and Jack Seymour to talk story about how it performed in the Gorge.

We are one week away! The air temps are warming up, as is the water and we are all excited to share the Gorge with you all.

PLEASE NOTE: Update on camping, share with your teams - Due to the fairgrounds being used by the city of Stevenson for 4th of July, camping is NOT allowed next Thursday at the fair grounds. We know many of you arrive early and we want to notify you. Arrival on Friday the 5th can happen at anytime. Please be prepared to make arrangements.
