Haters hate and ragers rage; God just takes care of business. When we started this team, it was started as a ministry. We had no invested need for it other than my Godson being coached by true coaches. We started with 8 kids two years ago. Now we have over two dozen--not our choice, but it's Gods ministry so we just ride. We cannot do anything on our own, but we can do what HE determines because he goes before, behind us and around us.

We had some people leave because they didn't see the future fulfillment in the mission. We still love them and cheer on their kids because we are in the ministry to build The Kingdom!

I have grown weary of hearing it's just this or it's just that. This weekend we went to the city and played respectable competition that used to beat us by twenty or more points.

The sixth grade-12u and fourth grade-10u both won the championships. Gabriel C was MVP for 12u, and Elijah P was MVP for 10u! All our kids poured it out, but these two were consistent, persistent and determined. Congrats young men!

All glory to God for we are HIS STORM and HE IS OUR REFUGE !

🥇 What an incredible way to finish the weekend! Our Storm family brought home another championship today. While we’re excited about the win, we’re even more proud of the heart, teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship these athletes showed throughout the tournament. 🥇🥇🥇What a special weekend for our Storm family. Congratulations to our 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade teams on winning their championship games. We are incredibly proud of these athletes for their hard work, perseverance, and the way they continue to encourage and support one another. This weekend was a blessing, and we’re thankful for every player, coach, and family who pours so much into these kids. Championships are exciting, but the character, friendships, and growth built along the way are what matter most. We are grateful for this opportunity and give all the glory to God. Another tournament in the books, and we couldn’t be prouder of EL Storm. While we didn’t bring home the championship this weekend, we competed with heart, grew as a team, and represented our program with character. Finishing 2nd in the 4th grade bracket, and in the 5th grade bracket is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players and coaches. Thank you to every family for your support, encouragement, and commitment throughout the weekend. We will learn from this experience, continue to grow, and come back stronger. All glory to God. 🏀❤️
