Vaters Motorsports is one of the original and strongest running professional monster truck racing operations in the world. Starting from humble beginnings in 1981, the team went from one modified street truck running rampant in Maryland to 4 hard-charging fully-customized race monster trucks competing all across North America. In 1981, team founder and owner Michael Vaters purchased a brand new 1

982 Ford F-150 and immediately began modifications to it. In a matter of 5 years, that same - once street legal - F-150 began sporting 66" tall agricultural tires and crushing junk vehicles for exhibition across America. As the years progressed, Vaters stayed ahead of the curve in innovation and technology, always competing at the highest levels of the growing sport of monster truck racing. His team has competed in the sport's biggest events and series - including Monster Jam, Thunder Nationals, PENDA Points Series, and much more. Vaters Motorsports is accredited with:
•The 2015 Monster Jam World Freestyle Championship, won by Mike Vaters II driving Overkill Evolution
•7 Thunder Nationals series championships, won by Michael Vaters driving Black Stallion
•Induction into the International Monster Truck Hall of Fame, earned by Michael Vaters
•The first team to introduce bypass nitrogen-charged customized shock technology to the sport, by Michael Vaters on the Black Stallion monster truck

Vaters Motorsports currently campaigns the Safety-Kleen Black Stallion, Iron Warrior, Higher Education, and Overkill Evolution monster trucks.
