Central Rock Hadley Head Route-Setter Stephen Denette has finals all wrapped up for this weekend's youth on-sight bouldering competition. He, Kai Webler and Joshua Surette have spent the last 3 days fine tuning these blocs, and they are psyched to entertain and challenge you! Spaces for the youth bouldering competition here at Central Rock Hadley are filing up fast. Register today for $60. Price will go up to $70 from the 23rd until the day of the event. Youth D and Youth C categories will be climbing first thing in the morning. Running orders for all categories will be posted on the 23rd

All humans in the building need to have a valid waiver on file at the gym, regardless of if they are climbing or not. Any human under the age of 18 will need a parent or legal guardian to fill out their waiver for them.

We want you to come, to have fun, and to walk away knowing what you need to improve to get ready for regionals and beyond. Can you dance on a slab? Figure out wacky beta? Send when you only have time for 1 or two tries? Power through a horizontal roof when tired? And so much more!

Central Rock Hadley is hosting a local youth on-sight competition on September 24, as part of the Western Mass Climbers Coalition annual "Rendezvous".

Pre-register by Sept. 19 (it will only cost $50), and will help us generate the running order.

One of the first local bouldering competitions of the 2016-17 season is being held at Central Rock Hadley as part of the Western Mass Climbers Coalition annual event the "Wmass Rendezvous". It's going to be an on-sight format event, with qualifiers and finals. We will also be screening Reel Rock 11 that evening. Read below for more for details and registration information!

A great message from a great climber. This is something we happened to discuss during our post-nationals debrief at practice today. After a long and rigorous sport climbing season, we couldn't agree more. We are keen on rediscovering the passion, the grace, and the pure joy of that climbing offers. Hopefully you are out there discovering those things too!

After hearing the whole Slovenian team sing their anthem during the women podium, I sang mine as loud as I could! 🇨🇦

There has to be something to say about the link between having fun while competing and the podiums of these World Cups! It felt like I was having such a blast this entire competition; I was climbing on point and was finally awarded another win. 🏆

Competition climbing is such a hard and long process, if you can't have some fun along the way, you'll finish your career and wonder why you didn't smile and relax more often. Although training and competing is not always the most glamorous, the victories along the competition path are that much better if you've been having fun the whole time! 🙂
