Field is up!!! We have some tweaking and additions to come, but it’s open for business.

I usually stop by after work and on weekends to maintain so I’ll post a couple pictures of the new fence in a couple days.

Baseball season is almost here! Danny and I are exciting to start building the Wiffleball field aka Speedline Park back at Scout Field within the next few weeks. We have received the OK from the BOE and were graciously gifted the insurance coverage from The Haddonfield Stars Youth Sports organization so Game On!!

Thank you to everyone for your enthusiasm and support with the field. We have received such great feedback about your kids enjoying it all season long and we hope that grows and continues in the years to come!

Many of you have asked how you can help! So I created a Venmo account if you would like to donate towards the new features and maintenance of the field. The outfield fence has to be replaced (roughly $400), we need new bases and backstop, balls and bats, and need to replace the American flag. I paint the lines fresh every week which is purchased as needed. Additionally I have some ideas for a spectating area for people that would like to come and watch!

We would love to host an Adults Only Wiffleball tournament this year, either at the end of June or end of September. Proceeds will host the tournament and the remaining funds will be donated to The Haddonfield Stars non-profit organization! Keep a look out!

Good afternoon everyone and Happy Holidays. I just wanted to let you know that the wiffleball field at Speedline Park is stored away for the winter.

We would like to thank everyone in town that made this happen. Members of the Board of Education and the Haddonfield Stars Organization. In early spring I’m going to set up some sort of Venmo account or GoFundMe page for people to donate towards the field. We do need new fencing and a couple of other upgrades for next year.

Tell your kids we will be back in spring and hope to see them all there.

Good morning everyone. Just wanted to let you know the field will be open until the end of October. We will take everything down and store it for the Winter.

UPDATE:

Good afternoon everyone. Update on the tournament. We are looking to a later date, June 29th is coming up way to fast with our busy schedules. We want I make sure we do this right. Thanks for understanding.

We are planning an Adult Wiffleball Tournament for Saturday June 29th. First game at 10am, final game at 7pm. We can only handle 10 teams for a double elimination tournament. At least 5 players per team.
