Location: Hackettstown HS Cafeteria. In person sign up only.

The Hackettstown Hurricanes are having Sign-Ups for the 2025 Swim Team Season. These sign-ups are separate from the swim lessons provided by Hackettstown Community Pool. Practices are every morning at the Hackettstown Pool starting at 9am and ending at 12noon, times are based on age levels. New swimmers should be able to swim across the pool without any assistance. We typically have 7 or 8 swim meets per season that conclude on July 26.

It's Hurricane season!
East had our first meet of the season, hosting Bee Meadow. This season we've introduced a new 6& Under age group for free and back. Congratulations Joanna Norris for winning our first ever 6&U 25 free!
Overall, our swimmers did an awesome job, with many best times and great races!
As always thank you to our coaches and volunteers.

Please bring 2 checks (one for team sign up, one for pool registration) or cash.

New this year: PreTeam! Geared towards our young athletes who are not quite ready for competition, but are able to swim. Practices will be 3 days a week with help in the water. If a swimmer progresses, he/she may be ready to try out a meet towards the end of the summer. Sign ups for PreTeam will take place during our regular sign ups.

Returning swimmers - forms were emailed out this week. If you haven't gotten them, and would like to fill them out in advance, please let us know.

Looking for winter swimming? North Jersey Barracudas have registration open for new swimmers. NJB has a variety of levels, from pre-team on day a week, to our competative programs ranging in abilities. New this year, our Intermediate and Senior Prep programs - for the busier/newer swimmers still interested in being part of the team.
