🔥 Fire Season Reminder – Help Us Protect the Range 🔥

As Eagle County moves into Stage 1 Fire Restrictions, we'd like to ask all members and visitors to help us keep the Gypsum Shooting Sports Park clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

Most people don't realize that the same volunteers who serve on the Board are often the same people hanging new backer boards, picking up trash, repairing target stands, and helping maintain the range. They do it because they care about the range and the people who use it.

As conditions become drier, even small things matter.

Before leaving the range, please:
• Remove paper targets from backer boards
• Pick up loose paper, cardboard, and trash
• Dispose of waste in the proper containers
• Leave your shooting area better than you found it

The Gypsum Shooting Sports Park is one of the best shooting facilities in Eagle County because its members take pride in it. Let's continue working together to keep it that way.

While we are NOT automatically moving into Stage 1 Fire Restrictions during a Red Flag Warning, the elevated fire danger makes it critical to use extra caution with any outdoor activity that could create sparks or ignition.

Another great Monday night .22 LR Benchrest shoot at the Gypsum Range.

Tiny groups, good laughs, and great people. These Monday night shoots continue to be one of the best ways to spend an evening at the range — whether you’re brand new or have been shooting for years.

MONDAY NIGHT .22 LR SHOOTS @ GYPSUM RANGE

Every Monday at 6:00 PM, the Gypsum Range hosts free, informal .22 LR shooting nights open to everyone — from brand-new shooters to old hands looking to sharpen skills and have some fun.

Monthly rotation:
1st Monday – Iron Sights .22
2nd Monday – Scoped .22
3rd Monday – Bench Rest at 50 Yards
4th Monday – .22 Pistol Iron Sights

This upcoming Monday is BENCHREST NIGHT — bring your favorite .22 LR rifle and come enjoy a relaxed, safe, and fun evening at the range.

No pressure. No expensive gear required. Just good people, good shooting, and a great excuse to spend a Monday evening at the range.

Had a great day today, thanks to the Craig Trap Club for hosting the 1st annual Dick King Memorial shoot. I won long yardage, A class Doubles and the 5 OZ silver shell.
