We’ve set the date for my father’s (Jim Brink) memorial. It’s been hard to focus on our start up for the season without him here but we are constantly reminded of him in our daily work. Handling the horses he raised and trained, saddling up with the gear he was constantly working on and repairing or improving and hitting the trails to start opening up for the season are the saving grace for our spirits right now. Without these things it would be an insurmountable task for us this spring.

It has been wonderful to hear the stories folks are sharing and we look forward to the many more that will come as we celebrate his life and legacy with our friends and family on this day! Please join us if you wish! And if you are unable to make it please feel free to send a note, story or photo you’d like to have included in the celebration of life.

Glad to see someone is having a good time out there! Congrats to this group on taking home some meat and a nice rack to boot! It’s been plenty warm out and a little rough but they’re getting it done!
