5 days until Bighorn Road. 🐏

Three routes. Three different ways to spend a seriously good day on the bike.

🐏 STONE SHEEP — 80 MILES
The full Bighorn Road experience. 80 miles, big Colorado views, plenty of climbing, and a road-bike-friendly hard-packed dirt section along Colorado River Road.

🐏 FANNIN SHEEP — 58 MILES
A substantial day on the bike without committing to the full 80. Great roads, beautiful terrain, and approximately 10 miles of road-bike-friendly hard-packed dirt.

🐏 DALL SHEEP — 31 MILES
Our shortest route and 100% paved. A great way to experience Bighorn Road without taking on the longer distances.

⚡ E-bike categories are now available for both the 58- and 31-mile routes.

Our friends Tour de Steamboat are back this Saturday, August 22, with three routes through some of the best riding in Routt County.

Choose your ride:

🚴 66-mile Yampa Road Loop
⛰️ 50-mile Gravel Route
🔥 112-mile Lynx Pass Assault

The Lynx Pass Assault delivers a challenging mix of gravel, climbing and remote Routt County roads for riders looking for a proper day on the bike.

It’s a ride, not a race — fully stocked aid stations, incredible Routt County scenery, and a post-ride BBQ + beer waiting at the finish.

Now in its 21st year, Tour de Steamboat has given back nearly $2 million to the Yampa Valley community.

Go ride Steamboat this weekend, then keep those legs rolling — Bighorn Road is just three weeks later on September 12.
