Austin Turnage () and Robert Willis () are quickly becoming one of the most intriguing young backcourts coming out of Memphis.
Both guards have excellent chemistry and a strong understanding of each other’s game. They are natural playmakers who can create for themselves and their teammates, attack the basket with confidence, and knock down shots from beyond the arc.
Their feel for the game and ability to make plays stand out every time they step on the floor. As they continue to develop, I would like to see a little more intensity on the defensive end, but that’s something that typically comes with age, experience, and maturity.
The talent is there. The potential is there. If they continue to work, compete, and develop their skill sets, both have the tools to become high-level Division I prospects in the years ahead.
