What a special weekend at the 90th Hugo PRCA Rodeo! ❤️🤠

This rodeo will always hold a special place in my heart as I officially passed down my title as the 2025 Hugo PRCA Rodeo Princess. It has been an incredible honor to represent this rodeo, and I am so excited to congratulate my friend, Lyla, on being crowned the 2026 Hugo PRCA Rodeo Princess! 👑✨ I know she will do an amazing job representing the Hugo rodeo family.

This weekend was also extra special because I got to use my horse, Scooby, for his very first rodeo and parade. He handled all the excitement like a seasoned pro and did such a great job! From the parade route to the rodeo grounds, he took everything in stride, and I couldn't be prouder of him. 🐴❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 90th Hugo PRCA Rodeo such a memorable celebration. Here's to honoring the traditions of the past, celebrating 90 years of rodeo history, and cheering on the next generation of rodeo royalty.

Congratulations again, Lyla! I can't wait to see all that this year has in store for you. ❤️🤠

What a fun-filled weekend in Hugo! ❤️🤠

One of the highlights was visiting the Endangered Ark Foundation, a private non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the future of Asian elephants in North America while providing a retirement ranch for former circus elephants. Getting to meet Kelly the Elephant was an unforgettable experience and a wonderful opportunity to learn more about these amazing animals. 🐘

We also had a blast at Jay Hodge Dodge hosting a stick horse rodeo for the kids! Watching their excitement, enthusiasm, and rodeo spirit was so much fun. It was great to see so many young cowboys and cowgirls enjoying the rodeo experience. 🐴🤠

A very special thank you goes to Melissa Drinkard for her outstanding hospitality throughout the weekend. From start to finish, she made everyone feel welcome and at home. It is easy to see why the Hugo PRCA Rodeo has been recognized multiple times as the Best Host Rodeo at the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Gala. The kindness, hard work, and dedication of the Hugo rodeo family truly make this event special.

This past weekend I attended the Hugo ORCA horsemanship and interview portions of the pageant. I was so happy to be back at the rodeo as Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Princess where I won my 1st princess title! The contestants did such a great job, and we can’t wait to be back next weekend for the rest of the pageant and rodeo!

After Hugo we headed up to Sallisaw for an amazing horsemanship and pageant prep clinic and it reminded me how important it is to always keep learning, improving, and moving forward. No matter where you are in your journey, there is always something new to work on and grow from. 🤍
We had a great weekend full of learning, riding, visiting with friends, a fun BBQ, and a horsemanship jackpot to wrap it all up. Thank you Lynn Spain for hosting the clinic, Dale Haraway and Casie Jo for all your knowledge. I was very thankful to win Top Horsemanship, and so proud of Kyndal Bogan for winning the Spirit of the West award. Looking forward to the Sallisaw Rodeo the last weekend of July!
So grateful for opportunities like this and for everyone who shared their knowledge and encouragement throughout the weekend!

Myself and Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen also enjoyed spending time with the Woodward Elks and Woodward Livestock and getting a behind-the-scenes look as they prepare for their 2nd Annual Horse Sale. It was great to see so much hard work and community support coming together.

On Wednesday I had the amazing opportunity to attend Ag Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol! 🌾🐄

I loved getting to meet so many incredible people, including representatives and organizations who work so hard to support agriculture in our state. It was so interesting to learn more about how agriculture impacts our daily lives and the future of Oklahoma.

One of my favorite parts of the day was getting to ride my horse around the Capitol with my 4-H group and Miss CRRA —it made the experience even more special and unforgettable! 🐎

I’m so thankful for the chance to represent rodeo and be a part of such a special day celebrating the agriculture industry. 💚
