Great first day of racing at Brainard International Raceway. 1st and 2nd rounds of qualifying in the books. Today is the final day of qualifying. Going to be another perfect weather day for racing.

It's been a great first week of rest and relaxation. Was at Sturgis for 5 days. Then headed north into North Dakota. Found an amazing restaurant in Belfield ND. along the way. It's called the Trappers Kettle Restaurant. Great food and hundreds of trap's through out the building. They have a large wall with several of the North Dakota Trapper Hall of Fame there. It was great to see Gary Jepson's plague there. Then off to Devils Lake. Had a great day of fishing, and our resort cooked them up for us. What a feast. Today, we head to Brainerd MN. for the NHRA drag races this weekend.

What a great evening at the Iron Horse Salon watching Gary Michaels Hypnotist Show. Had the pleasure of meeting the biker guru, and his wife Wendy at the show. What an amazing couple.

After a long 2 week's, with the National Trappers Convention in Indiana, the Funke Polooza, and the Fur Takers of America Convention in Macon Missouri. I decided I needed a little R&R. Jumped on my bike and headed to Sturgis. First day here, and main Street is looking full. The shop is open, and Lil Al will take care of anything you might need.

I want to thank the Fur Takers of America and the Missouri Trappers Association for an amazing convention. Thank you to everyone that helped make this event a huge success. Job well done by both organizations. I especially want to thank Paul Antczak for being in our booth all weekend and the help he gave us. I also have to thank everyone that helped me during setup, teardown, and during the show. We could not have done this without all your hard work. Can't wait until next year to do it again in Spencer Iowa. Great job everyone.
