Congratulations to all of our team record breakers from this past Thursday in our meet against Anniston and Jacksonville!

Isabella Champion broke two of her own records in the IM and the butterfly, while also breaking a 14-year old record in the 50 yard free. Awesome swimming!

Michael Alred knocked off Cole Everett’s IM record from last season. Great job, Michael!

Both Olivia Champion and Jackson Ellis beat their own records from earlier this season, Olivia in the 25 yard free and Jackson in the 50 yard fly. Congrats, you two!

Finally, John Wilson Dollar broke a 16-year old record in the 25 yard backstroke. Amazing swimming, John Wilson!

Congratulations to these swimmers! We are so proud of you all! Go Aquacats!

We are kicking off the season with some new team records! Congratulations to these swimmers!

At our Red and White Meet last Thursday, sisters Olivia Champion and Isabella Champion broke multiple team records.
Olivia got both the 6 & Under free and back records, while Isabella knocked off the 8 & Under free, breast, back and fly records. Great job, girls!

At our meet in Boaz last night, Jackson Ellis broke the 15-18 boys fly record. This was such an exciting race to watch. Great job, Jackson!

At our meet last night, our 13-14 mixed medley relay consisting of Michael Alred, Tinsley Broadway, Benjamin Ellis and Ally Rader also got a team record. Amazing job swimmers!

We are so proud of these swimmers and are excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for this group! Go Aquacats!

While away meets require fewer volunteers than home meets, we still need parent volunteers to help keep everything running smoothly and on schedule. A little bit of your time makes a BIG impact on our team and helps ensure a great experience for all our swimmers!

📣 Schedule Update for Aquacats Families! 🐬

Please note a change to our upcoming County Meet:

🏊‍♀️ New Location: Albertville
📅 Date: June 27 (no change)

The meet will no longer be held in Arab and will now take place in Albertville at the Sand Mountain Park pool.

Be sure to update your calendars, and we’ll share more details as we get closer! Let’s keep working hard and get ready to make a splash 💙💛

After much consideration, Coach Becca has officially selected this year’s Guntersville Aquacats team suits…

🐱💦 Custom kitten print competition suits 💦🐱

Coach shared that the decision was based on:
✔️ Team spirit
✔️ Maximum cuteness for intimidation purposes
✔️ “Fastest swimmers are happiest swimmers”

*Coach Becca says this will improve lap times by 12%*

We can’t wait to see our Aquacats making waves in these purr-fect new uniforms this season!
