But it’s an epic day to be a PUP on a SUP 🐶 🐾

Join Alpine Surf Company as we once again host the beloved annual PUP & SUP RACE with Jorgensen Park 4th of July Celebration!

We will be sponsoring free paddleboard demos from 5pm-7pm along with
The PUP & SUP RACE will kick off at 6pm with a pre-race meetup at 5:45pm

This event is always SO much fun and supports our wonderful friends at
Those folks are always doing beautiful things for our local four legged community!

This year’s 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners on the podium will win our highest bag 💰 ever!!

Where we kick off the season by pouring love back into our community and river 🌊

The crew always does such a killer job at putting all of this together and we love getting to be a part of this fun day every year!!

It’s runoff season!
That means it’s the time to play it extra safe out there.

The snow is melting a bit on the quick side and it’s causing the river to move pretty quick while also engorging the rivers making for unsafe river conditions.

But this doesn’t mean you can’t find other ways to enjoy this insanely beautiful warm weather.

You can still visit any one of our gorgeous alpine lakes like the blue mesa reservoir, the Taylor Reservoir as well as the very lower stretch of the Gunnison river.

You can also rent a super cute townie bike to cruise around the area, visit the farmers market or take a scenic lap around the Van Tuyle trail and peep the river.

However you choose your adventure, be safe out there! And come by our Gunnison location and say hello to see what kind of adventure we can outfit you for! 🤙🏽

Annual River Clean Up is on May 4th from 9:30am-noon. Come for part or all!
The Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District is graciously providing lunch from Jermaine’s & coffee from the Tributary. If you think you can join let us know how many veggie or chicken burritos you or your crew needs.
Gloves, rake, shovel, pruners or sawzall are always helpful items to bring. Stoked to see you there!!
