At home pulling exercise.. find an old bed sheet, tie a knot, put it in the door, lock the door, and you're good to go... I'm sure we've all been doing tremendous amounts of push ups, which is great. But too much pressing without pulling is going to set you up for some serious shoulder issues in the future... Do your best to balance your body out and work that posterior chain. 💪

Here's a super simple hip flow to get those legs ready to roll 🦵.

Try to stay dynamic in each position. Explore different positions and find your limitations

👃Take 2-3 big deep belly breaths in each position, sinking a little lower into the stretch on each breath.

While everyone is stuck working out at home I felt it pertinent to share this study I came across a while back.

👩‍🔬👨‍🔬The authors of this review (bless their hearts) reviewed 21 studies. They were comparing muscle growth (hypertrophy) and strength gains in a heavy resistance setting vs. a low resistance setting.

They found that as long as each set is taken to (or close to) failure gains in strength and hypertrophy are similar.🥳

Yes, training with heavier loads is ideal and will produce slightly more benefit (especially where strength is concerned). But these findings should be liberating if you're an athlete trying to maintain or gain strength/fitness/hypertrophy, or even if you're simply trying to be the sexiest you you can be as we approach beach bod season ☀️😎💪.

My only disclaimer is you need to have a high pain tolerance to train with light loads close to failure 🔥🔥💥💥. You're gonna have to toughen up and enter the pain cave (or go to the well as some of my runners would say).
