SOLD! Time for the younger generation to take over!

Mary and I want to thank everyone that believed in and supported us the past five years. When we had the opportunity to buy this shop, a true namesake in the Gunnison valley, I had one goal in mind, to make this the friendliest, warmest, fly shop in Colorado and I think we accomplished that.

We have made some wonderful new friends and connections that would have never happened if not for the great conversations in this shop and I will miss that the most. That being said, when we decided to sell, keeping it local was the main priority, and that we did!

Please welcome the new local owners, Joanie Stacie and Dustin Viau. I will let them give a full introduction, but many of you know Joanie as the former manager of Dragonfly Angler's in Crested Butte. She has the experience to not only run and grow the shop, but knows how to take care of her clients needs. Dustin also spent time there and as a fly fishing guide he knows the valley and how to make sure clients have a great day on the water. There is no doubt in my mind, these two have the passion, enthusiasm and experience to continue my dream and make it an even more amazing experience. Congratulations!

As for Mary and I? Many of you have joined us on our hosted trips and we will continue to do so!! I will save the details for an email intro that will be sent to all of our clients. PLEASE, add info@flyfishingadventuretravel to your email list. Joanie has been gracious enough to allow me to continued contact with our current clients so we may continue to take you to magical places! Lol
