24 and 12-hour Mountain bike relay racing in the high altitude desert of Gunnison, CO. Compete in various classes from one to five people per team to see how many laps can be ridden on the 13+ (1,100') course.

Hey all! Are you coming to ride on Aug 20-21? Just a reminder, this is NOT a race. There won't be the support that there has been in years past. Just a bunch of people getting together to ride, drink beer, reminisce, and have fun together!

If you haven't booked your site already, we have a trailer site. Don't worry, Mitch and I are still going, but we switched to a cabin. Let us know if you want it!

The 2015 24 Hours in the Sage Mountain Bike Race has been cancelled. We regret the short notice of this decision and announcement, but lack of interest has made this decision necessary. All participants will receive a full refund of their entry fee and we have contacted eventbright to facilitate this process. To those who paid the event directly, we will return your entry via check next week. We apologize for any inconvenience we have caused our supporters. The Gunnison KOA would like to extend an invitation to all who entered the race to spend the weekend of August 21 – 23, at the KOA for free. Thank You for your understanding.

Anyone else have similar complaints? If so, we wanna hear them... Why, cuz we love you.

"I've raced this event for the 5th and last time.. The food was marginal and the beer?? Was well,, I expected similar beers from previous races. I talked this event up to other racers and ended up apologizing quite a bit. The times are also wrong! We raced another team . I know we beat them and they placed above us according to your records. The significant entry fee goes to what?? I race quite a bit, but this is my last race in the sage!!!!"
