GHS Volleyball is preparing for Summer 2025!

Open Gym starts Monday, June 2nd at 530 pm at GHS.

There will potentially be two team camps...one June 27-28 (@ Grand Valley) and one July 9-11 (@ Western). DM or email if your student-athlete would like to attend either.

Hi all!

If you're coming to our Western team camp, please follow the link sent out on TeamSnap to register. If you played varsity last year or are a junior/senior, please select Gunnison A for your team. If you are a sophomore or freshman, please select Gunnison B. Everyone will select "commuter registration," as we are not staying on campus. This must be filled out by Monday!

GHS Cowboy Volleyball 2024
Summer Schedule and Tryouts info:

Weight lifting is offered through the GHS Weight Room. Athletes should do their best to attend as much as possible.

Open gym will be Mondays/Wednesdays starting June 17th, from 530 - 730 pm.

We will NOT have open gym on July 3rd

Our Team Camp will be July 10-12th at Western Colorado University.

OFFICIAL PRACTICE/BEGINNING OF SEASON:

Athletes Must be present for the first week of practice/tryouts to be considered for the team. Please reach out to Coach Hart to discuss extenuating circumstances.

To be eligible to practice, athletes must have a valid sports physical and have completed all online paperwork required by GHS. This should be found on PlanetHS or similar platform.

Official practice begins Monday August 12th in the GHS Main Gym at 530 pm, and will run until 7/730 pm.

Parent night is Tuesday, August 13th, time to be announced. Please plan to have a parent or guardian present as we will be discussing the team selection process and expectations for the upcoming season.

Tryouts will conclude Friday, August 16th, and team selections will be sent home with athletes at the conclusion of practice.

** Please note that we do cuts as part of the team selection process. While we strive to accommodate everyone, placement on a team is not guaranteed. **

We're getting ready for summer!!!

Cowboys Volleyball will be attending Western Colorado University team camp, July 10th-12th.

Cost for team camp will be $30/athlete.

Meals and lodging are not provided as this camp is right here in the valley 😊

Hi all! In an effort to better accomodate other banquets and the start of winter sports, our Volleyball Banquet has been postponed until next Tuesday, 11/14 at 630 pm.
