The 2026 USSSA Sports Gulfport Global World Series got off to an incredible start today at Gulfport Sportsplex!

From the Home Run Derby 💣 to the Fastest Man Competition 🏃‍♂️ and the Golden Arm Challenge 🚀, athletes from across the country showcased their power, speed, and skill before tournament play even began.

The energy was high, the competition was fierce, and the memories are just getting started.

🚨 FIELD UPDATE 🚨

Due to today's weather conditions and out of an abundance of caution, all soccer fields and baseball/softball diamonds at Gulfport Sportsplex are closed for Tuesday, June 16.

❌ Diamonds 1-15 Closed
❌ Soccer Fields 1-6 Closed

The safety of our athletes, coaches, officials, and families remains our top priority. Closing the fields also helps protect our playing surfaces and ensures they recover properly for future practices, games, and tournaments.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

From the excitement of pin trading and a night at the ballpark with the Biloxi Shuckers to the first two full days of competition at Gulfport Sportsplex, the Grand Slam Sports Tournaments Shuckers Gulf Coast Championship, presented by the Biloxi Shuckers, is delivering unforgettable memories for players, coaches, and families.

We saw incredible plays, big hits, major league moments, and the sportsmanship that makes youth baseball so special.

Day 1 of the Grand Slam Sports Tournaments Shuckers Gulf Coast Championship, presented by the Biloxi Shuckers, is in the books!

Today was all about creating memories off the field as players and families enjoyed pin trading, connecting with teams from across the region, and taking in a night of professional baseball at Keesler Federal Park as the Biloxi Shuckers took the field.

A huge thank you to Showtime Sports MS, the Biloxi Shuckers, and all of the teams and families who made today such a great start to the tournament weekend.

Now it's time for the games to begin! We can't wait to welcome everyone to Gulfport Sportsplex tomorrow for a full day of competition, moments of camaraderie, and Coastal Mississippi baseball.
