We’re proud to announce William “Cody” Ward as President of the 94th Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo! ⚓️🐟

Cody joined the Mobile Jaycees and the Rodeo in November 2015 and has spent the past 11 years being part of the people and traditions that make ADSFR so special. As he steps into this leadership role, he’s grateful for the opportunity to serve an organization that brings people together, gives back to the community, and helps its members grow as leaders. He looks forward to building on that impact while carrying the Rodeo’s legacy into another year.

Cody would also like to thank his wife, Shannon, and their children, Jonathan, Khloe, and Liam, for their love and support throughout the year. He’s thankful for the dedication of the organization’s members and the opportunity to serve alongside a group of people who work hard to make the Rodeo possible year after year.

Join us in congratulating Cody as he takes on this role and helps lead the way for the 94th ADSFR! Here’s to another great year of tradition, community impact, and time on the water!🎣

The Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo is proud to support Team Focus and the incredible work they do through a donation presented last night 🎣

Team Focus works to make a lasting difference in the lives of young men ages 10–18 who are growing up without a father figure by providing mentorship, leadership skills, guidance, and strong moral values along the way.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support an organization investing in the next generation and helping young men build a stronger future. ❤️

Before we officially end the 2026 Rodeo year, we wanted to share a few words from the President of the 93rd Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo 🎣

"As we close the books on the 93rd Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who made this year so special.

To all of our anglers, sponsors, spectators, volunteers, and supporters: thank you for showing up, casting a line, cheering from the shore, and continuing to support one of Alabama’s greatest traditions. This Rodeo simply would not be possible without each and every one of you.

More than anything, I hope the 93rd ADSFR gave you something worth remembering. I hope you made memories with your kids, your parents, your friends, and your families, the kind of memories that get talked about for years to come.

The Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo is about much more than fishing. It’s about family, friendship, tradition, community, and supporting an amazing cause. We are incredibly proud to be a part of something that brings people together year after year.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, our dedicated Committee Members, and my family, thank you for your continued support, trust, and love for the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo.

We are already looking forward to the next chapter…

🎣 We’ll see you at the 94th ADSFR! 🎣

Until then, keep making memories, keep supporting our community, and keep the tradition alive.

Thank you for making the 93rd one to remember!"

There was a lot of talent throughout the Rodeo grounds at the 93rd ADSFR back in July, and we got the chance to catch up with Lower Alabama Woodworks on the last day of the tournament and hear a little more about what they do!

Their work is featured in our awards packages, but it goes far beyond that. From custom woodworking to unique pieces of art, their craftsmanship and creativity really stand out.

We’re proud to have talented local businesses like Lower Alabama Woodworks make the Rodeo and our Gulf Coast community extra special year after year. 🐟🎣

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost and the families, first responders, and communities forever changed by September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

We honor their memory and reflect on the courage, compassion, and unity that carried our country through an unimaginable time.

25 years later, we still remember those we lost and those who answered the call to help. We will never forget. ❤️💙
