Announcement:
After 47 years of martial arts training I’ve been awarded my 9th Dan in Taekwon-Do. This honor and accomplishment was made possible because of some great people that I want to thank.
-Grandmaster Robert Dunn
-Grandmaster Edward Minyard
These two individuals were at the official Taekwondo Hall of Fame in New York and had a conversation about promoting me. When I got the call and was offered this promotion, I had one request. That was, my instructor-friend-mentor had to be contacted and he MUST give his approval. Well, he was called and my promotion nomination was presented and approved my Grandmaster Peter Sanders.
I’ve known these three Grandmasters for years and to have them advocate for this promotion still has not 100% sunk in.
I’m happy that GM Dunn has recognized me at this level and I hope to continue training and teaching Taekwon-Do the way I’ve been taught by Taekwon-Do pioneers and ITF leaders.
